Microwave Chemical Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Suita City, Osaka; President and CEO: Iwao Yoshino) announces that it will accept sample evaluations from companies considering the introduction of the SiriusWave® , a multi-stage microwave freeze-drying system for food, pharmaceutical, and other applications.

We have demonstrated that even multiple samples placed statically on a shelf can be dried uniformly in a shorter time than the conventional method. We also have confirmed that it is possible to significantly shorten freeze-drying time and improve quality accordingly.
We have released SiriusWave® , a microwave multistage freeze-drying system that applies this technology1 , and are in the process of introducing it to Asahi Group Foods Corporation, a leading manufacturer of freeze-dried food .2

　For companies considering the introduction of the SiriusWave® , 　we will conduct an “actual equipment test” in which your samples will be freeze-dried using our actual equipment in order for you to experience the advantages of our technology.
